The materials used for this exercise are not created by - or unique to - The MOST. Instead of writing detailed technical lectures on the technologies we want to cover, a task that has already been done by others more skilled than us, we'll primarily be using pointers to chapters in the documentation provided by Metrowerks (and to other readily available documentation). The MOST will provide the webspace that ties the pieces together with our particular focus, access to mentors for the participants, and the use of the MOST-Dev-Projects mailing list for discussions, but not much else. You could study this material on your own without us, but we're here if you need to ask a question about it.
I am trying to keep the curriculum focused on the practical application of PP, not the theory behind how it operates. However, each participant in MPPB seems to have a different starting skill level and without a grasp of some of the associated theory, learning just the practical application of PP is nearly impossible. This makes creating a "one size fits all" curriculum for our intended audience an impossibility.
The curriculum for this exercise provides pointers to the areas that must be mastered to build upward from almost no related programming knowledge to a reasonable facility with the use of PP. The curriculum may be entered at any point if you believe that you have mastered all steps before that point. This is not meant to imply that a previously unskilled individual is going to read each of these texts in order and then go on to create the next killer app. Each reference below is to a text on a subject that should be mastered in the chain, but the participants should expect to combine related readings and LOTS of practical application at each step before moving forward.

FMPC (Fundamental Mac Programing Concepts) - a stratospherically-high level introduction to programming concepts. Written by radar, it is hosted here at The MOST.
