MPPB - Lessons

This "course" is not going to attempt to cover its subject matter in great theoretical detail. Many of the topics we cover would require many months (years?) of study to gain a full understanding of their every aspect. Our focus instead is on covering the minimum information that students will need to know how to become productive, from which point they may delve deeper into the subjects on their own or by asking questions on the MOST-Dev-Projects mailing list.

Because of this 'superficial' approach (not to mention time constraints on the part of the mentors!), the lessons for this class will not be lectures as such, but will instead consist of brief introductions to each topic and pointers to appropriate reading materials. Students are EXPECTED to read the assignments before posting questions, but questions and class discussions of the issues relating to the materials are explicitly encouraged to ensure each student understands them.

This page will be built as the course progresses.
