Long promised, we have finally actually begun to populate the Resources section of the site. Here we will try to provide a comprehensive listing of tools, net sites, magazines, orgs, etc. that may be of interest to anyone doing Mac OS development.
Participants in the MPPB exercise may Download the PP Book from here.
Try the "ToC" link in line 1 above the next time you want to get to another page on the site fast!
A group study exercize for MOTIVATED Mac OS/programming beginners is forming throughout April, with the beginning of the exercise scheduled for May 1. See the MPPB entry in the projects section of the web site for further information.
Mass edit #8 was completed in late April. This edit added the membership list (produced by Harriet Smth), as well as incorporating a simplified site navigation and a new presentation of key information about how to interact with The MOST.
Wolfi & the Whatznu team got off to a good start, but the team lost steam eventually due to conflicting time availability of the members. With Wolfi's absence and no other members of the team able to take charge, we have subsequently put this project team on indefinite hold. We are taking what we learned from this effort and applying it to future group project teams.
We obtained our own domain name this summer "themost.org". This latest mass edit served to correct references to the old domain on the site.
Harriet Smith has collected the information provided by our members and produced a membership data base for use at the site. This listing will help us manage our mentoring efforts, will assist students in finding mentors with appropriate tools/experience, will help us to know each other better, and will be used to help manage the upcoming "Tester's network".
Wolfgang Bachmann is currently soliciting participants for the first MOST Development Project. Details on this project and how to participate are contained in the Projects section of the site (See line 2 in the Nav Aid at the top of this page).
During June of 1997 we re-organized the entire site and added the new logo provided by Michael Edmondson. This reorg was performed to prepare for the subsequent expansion of the Projects, Mentors, and Resources sections.
