The MacOS Core Programming Course is based on (no... let's be honest and make that: DEFINED BY) the free books "Macintosh C: A Hobbyist's Guide to Programming the Macintosh in C" and "Macintosh Pascal: A Hobbyist's Guide to Programming the Macintosh in Pascal" and their associated demonstration program packages.
Both of these books were written by K.J. Bricknell, with collaboration from Koryn Grant on the Pascal version. "Macintosh C" was first published on the Internet in March 1996. The book itself (including the accompanying sample code) is now housed on the MacTech web site (an organization which is not associated with The MOST). This organization contributes web space to K.J. in his efforts to make his materials available to the public.
